To the left
are some images of float finished coloured concrete floors.
These floors are coloured as the concrete is still wet. There
are about 20 colours to choose from for this floor type.
In order to achieve the best finish it is important that the
room is cleared of all obstacles that may interfere with the
path id the floating machine.
Colour swatches are only a guide to the final colour of the
concrete. Variations from any swatch may occur. It is always
recommended that a test be created using the same materials
as those proposed for the final project.

Below are
examples of ground and polished floor. This floor is mainly
coloured by the type of stones, sand and cement used.
It is possible to artificially alter the colour of the floor
by adding pigments to the mix when wet, although this can
prove expensive and it can be difficult to find a concrete
supplier willing to accommodate this on small residential
projects.
An alternative is to add pigment to the surface of the wet
concrete and work it in or to stain the concrete once it is
hard.
